Information we collect
We may collect account identifiers, display names, verified email addresses, Discord identity information, search locations, preferred stores, brands, categories, notification preferences, submitted reports, uploaded evidence, delivery history, and security or diagnostic records.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, personalize opportunities, verify evidence, prevent abuse and duplicates, deliver notifications, provide support, measure reliability, and improve platform performance.
Third-party services
CIP may rely on hosting, authentication, database, messaging, OCR, analytics, and retailer-data providers. Each provider receives only the information necessary for its assigned function, subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
Location information
Search areas and preferred stores are used to rank nearby opportunities. CIP does not require continuous device-location tracking for the standard web experience.
User submissions
Receipts, shelf labels, photos, reports, and other evidence may contain personal or transaction information. Members should remove unnecessary personal details before submission. Evidence may be retained for verification, moderation, audit, and dispute handling.
Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for platform operation, legal compliance, fraud prevention, audit, or dispute resolution. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Members can adjust preferences and delivery settings through the portal. Requests concerning account information should be submitted through authenticated support until a domain-managed privacy inbox is activated.
Children
CIP is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
This policy may be revised as the platform, providers, and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date.
