Clear answers before you start.
How CIP handles evidence, accounts, retailers, alerts, and reported savings.
Is Clearance Intelligence operated by a retailer?
No. CIP is an independent intelligence platform. Retailer affiliation is never implied unless a specific written relationship is disclosed.
Does a reported price guarantee I can buy the item for that amount?
No. A reported price is not a guarantee. Local prices, inventory, eligibility, and availability can change. Members should verify conditions directly with the store before making a trip or purchase decision.
Where does the information come from?
Depending on the opportunity, inputs may include authorized catalog enrichment, community observations, receipts, shelf labels, product images, manual review, historical records, and CIP analysis.
How are one-cent or exceptional markdown observations handled?
They are treated as community or evidence-based observations, not as retailer-provided guarantees. CIP keeps evidence origin and confidence visible and applies moderation before broad publication.
Do I need Discord?
No. Discord is a supported sign-in and delivery option, but the web portal is designed to support a broader member experience as production communications come online.
What information does CIP collect?
Account identity, preferences, search area, delivery settings, submitted evidence, and operational security records may be collected when needed. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
